Apparently the DNC in Denver - the ones hosting the DNC Convention - has avoided paying state and Federal taxes on gas. This is shocking, since the DNC has said a gas tax holiday for the average American would be pointless not offering any real help. Apparently, its quite helpful for the DNC politicians in Denver.

This kind of stuff drives me crazy! I wouldn't be surprised if the RNC is doing the same thing. How is it that our political system continually leaves the average American screwed over? Again, it drives me crazy! And what a double standard set by the DNC. I just can't believe these politicians would strike down a policy affecting average Americans and then use that same policy to derive benefit from it.
I personally think the gas tax holiday is a joke because I've read it would bankrupt U.S. road maintenance budgets. It would be nice but the relative benefit is quite low. But for the love of everything, don't say its a waste and then us it for yourself. What say you?
